The DASP Olympic Torch

St Mary's Middle Puddletown

As part of its Olympic celebrations, DASP schools will be carrying an Olympic Flame from school to school. Each school will be looking at exciting ways to transport the torch.

On Monday 14th November 2011, Puddletown First School created a human chain to carry the torch to the nearby Middle school. On arriving, they were applauded through to the School Hall, where the rest of the school waited for them. The torch was handed over to St Marys, for the next stage of its journey. There was even a special visit from Dorset Echo Kids Club mascot Eli Echo the Lion.
